New Year's Day

We drove to Atlanta yesterday and celebrated New Year's Eve with our friends Cobb and Mecall and their little girl Lucy. They were terrific hosts and made us steaks and crabcakes for dinner! Yum! It was great to be able to spend time with them and catch up.

They had a jumpy seat that Will tried out for the first time and seemed to like!

Lucy enjoyed her dinner!

We made it until midnight!

We spent the day today watching football and eating delicious food with the Pearsons and our sisters. We made artichoke dip, guacamole, salsa, cheese dip, and apple dip. The Pearsons made a collard green and black eyed pea soup and brownies and Matt made shrimp creole with AWESOME shrimp his dad had gotten us!

Tomorrow Will and I are flying out to Deer Valley, Utah to go skiing with my family! Matt is driving back to Evanston so he can start his classes on Monday, and then he will fly out and join us later in the week. I'm a little bit worried about traveling with Will, but hopefully he will do well tomorrow!
