We drove up there Saturday and had dinner at Whistling Straights golf course, where the PGA Championship will be played in a few months! It is beautiful, and right on a cliff overlooking Lake Michigan. I got a few pictures of my handsome fellas before dinner...
We got a table by the window and this was our view! The sun was setting and the sky was stormy and just beautiful!

Sunday we woke up and ordered room service for breakfast...I got the belgium waffle with raspberry and creme fraiche and white chocolate! Oh my word, it was soo good!
It was a perfect first Mother's Day!

Happened upon this blog thru a friends' and saw your profile. Cute blog. We moved from Evanston 3yrs ago, and I vacationed on SSI every summer. Our little boy was born 5/5. Your mothers day getaway also sounds like it would make a great fathers day gift for my husband who can't seem to get enough of golf.
